About the Role

1 The Performance Marketing Manager (PMM) plays a pivotal role in driving the success of client digital
marketing campaigns and achieving measurable business outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker
with hands-on expertise in managing and optimizing performance marketing initiatives across various digital
platforms. As a leader, you will guide a team of Performance Marketing Executives, ensuring that all
campaigns align with client business goals and deliver the highest return on investment (ROI).

2 In this role, you will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, including web development,
content, design, and analytics, to create data-driven strategies and execute them effectively. Your insights
and decisions will directly impact the growth of our clients and the agency. This position offers an
opportunity to shape innovative campaigns in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Requirements


The Performance Marketing Manager (PMM) will oversee and optimize the execution of all digital campaigns, ensuring they deliver measurable results and align with business objectives. Key responsibilities include:

● Campaign Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement performance marketing strategies to achieve specific goals such as lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Oversee end-to-end campaign management, including planning, execution, tracking, optimization, and reporting across channels like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, and programmatic platforms.

● Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Performance Marketing Executives, fostering professional growth and ensuring high team performance. Allocate tasks and resources effectively, ensuring timely delivery of campaign objectives.

● Optimization and Analytics: Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google AdWords, Facebook Ad Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Looker Studio, and other campaign monitoring, optimization and reporting platforms. Identify trends and insights to optimize spending, improve targeting, and enhance campaign outcomes.

● Budget Management: Plan, manage and regularly monitor advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation to maximize ROI. Monitor spending to ensure adherence to client budgets and financial goals.

● Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Digital Account Managers, content creators, designers, developers and clients to ensure campaigns are visually appealing, on-brand, and aligned with the target audience. Communicate performance updates, strategies, and insights to clients and internal stakeholders through detailed reports and presentations.

● Innovation and Trends: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to keep campaigns innovative and competitive. Experiment with new platforms and formats to discover additional growth opportunities.

● Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their goals and provide tailored marketing solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for performance marketing-related queries and strategy discussions.


● Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions to upskill the team on emerging tools, technologies, and best practices. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

● Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all campaigns adhere to industry standards, platform policies, and legal regulations. Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in campaign deliverables.

● Performance Reporting and Insights: Develop and present detailed performance reports to internal and external stakeholders, showcasing ROI and key achievements. Provide actionable recommendations to improve campaign performance based on data-driven insights.

● Cross-Channel Integration: Coordinate performance marketing efforts with other marketing channels, such as email, SEO, and content marketing, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and maximize overall impact.

● Testing and Experimentation: Plan and execute A/B and multivariate testing across creatives, audiences, and landing pages to determine best practices and refine future strategies.

● Lead Management: Ensure that lead tracking is properly set up across all platforms. Verify that leads generated from ads are accurately tracked, and ensure that the lead data in tracking systems matches with the leads in Google Ads and other relevant ad tracking platforms and tools.

● Lead Quality Management: Monitor and maintain lead quality on a daily basis by coordinating with clients to ensure that they update and share lead data regularly. Optimize campaigns based on this data to improve lead quality and reduce spam leads, ensuring that lead generation efforts align with client expectations and objectives.

● Landing Page Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize landing pages to improve conversion rates and ensure they are aligned with campaign objectives. Work closely with the design and development teams to implement A/B testing, enhance user experience, and ensure landing pages are fully optimized for performance across various devices.

● Creative Optimization and Visual Appeal: Provide optimization inputs to enhance the visual appeal of creatives used across all channels, including Google Display, Meta, LinkedIn, and others. Ensure that the visuals align with the brand guidelines, and collaborate with the design team to create compelling, on-brand visuals that resonate with target audiences and improve campaign performance.

● User Behavior Analysis and Campaign Optimization: Utilize heatmap tools to analyze user behavior on landing pages and throughout the website. Use insights from this data to further optimize campaigns, refine targeting strategies, and improve user experience, leading to higher engagement and conversion rates.


● Technology Utilization: Leverage marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and other relevant technologies to streamline campaign processes and enhance targeting.

● Crisis and Risk Management: Identify potential campaign risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate adverse effects on client reputation or budget performance.

● Audience Insights and Segmentation: Conduct in-depth audience analysis and segmentation to deliver highly personalized campaigns that resonate with specific target groups.

● Partnerships and Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors, ad platforms, and technology partners to enhance campaign performance and stay ahead of competitive trends.

● Formal Communication: All formal communication is to be conducted via email, and all emails are to be promptly replied to.

● Task Management: All tasks assigned in Zoho Projects are to be completed, and Zoho Projects must be used fully to ensure proper task management and tracking.

● Feedback Management: Actively solicit feedback from the Head of Digital Operations (HODO), Associate Head of Digital Operations (AHODO), Digital Operations Manager (DOM), Digital Account Managers (DAMs), Content Teams, Design Teams, and Senior Leadership members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

● Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal teams, including MoMs, scheduling meetings, and follow-ups. Utilize Zoho Cliq for real-time communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

● Follow-up Communication: Must respond in a timely manner to all stakeholder emails and Zoho Cliq messages. Communication must be professional with all stakeholders.

● Ad hoc Tasks: Willingly undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Digital Operations (HODO), Associate Head of Digital Operations (AHODO), Digital Operations Manager (DOM), Digital Account Managers (DAMs), and Senior Leadership to support overall team objectives.


You are the right fit, if you have

● Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

● Experience: 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns.

● Expertise: Expertise in paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads), paid social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), programmatic advertising, and native advertising.


Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag

Manager, and other campaign management and data visualization platforms.

● Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

● Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
